VOISS Screener

Introduction and Overview

The VOISS Screener is the initial entry tool into VOISS for teachers. By the teacher indicating the priority of a particular domain, either “Not Needed”, “Low”, “Neutral” or “High”, the system will prioritize which domain a student needs to focus on. Then, by indicting per skill grouping, how frequently a student exemplified a skill, either “Can talk about it and often doe it (mastery)”, “Can talk about it but rarely does it”, “Seldom demonstrated this”, “Never demonstrates this”, or “Not Enough Knowledge to Rate This” the system will rank order domains and suggest where a student should begin in the VOISS virtual reality environment.
